She/Her
Laura frequently works with individuals who feel stuck in loops of shame, self-criticism, and overthinking. She views painful patterns like these as understandable responses to life experiences rather than simply problems to eliminate. When clients can explore their patterns with curiosity instead of judgment, they often develop greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and self-trust.
Warm and down-to-earth, Laura moves at a pace that respects each person’s unique history and goals. She welcomes clients of diverse identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Some of the areas she works with are anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, relational concerns, grief & loss, and life transitions. She has a particular affinity for supporting healthcare workers, educators, caregivers, and others in helping roles.
Laura’s integrative, trauma-informed approach draws from insight-oriented therapy and somatic (mind-body) practices, as well as parts-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). She also practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective.
