Everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported. Alex works with young adults, adults, and college and graduate students to build that kind of space—one that fosters connection, curiosity, and self-compassion. She supports clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, identity, neurodivergence (ADHD/ASD), self-esteem, body image concerns, and other challenges.
At the heart of her work is a deep belief that all people have the capacity for self-understanding, self-directed growth, and healing. Alex helps clients explore how their past experiences have shaped the way their bodies, brains, and nervous systems respond to the world. Together, they build awareness of patterns and behaviors that may no longer serve them and identify new ways forward that feel aligned, empowered, and intentional.
Alex approaches therapy through a sex-positive, anti-racist, and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens. She strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment that feels relaxed and human—where humor and connection have just as much space as the hard stuff. Her work is eclectic and integrative, drawing from relational, somatic, and mindfulness-based practices, as well as Polyvagal theory, CBT, REBT, and psychodynamic approaches, among others.
Alex is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Montana State University – Bozeman and her master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas.
Outside of the therapy room, Alex enjoys spending time with her family, friends, dog (Red), and cat (Blue). She also loves reading, crocheting, quilting, cooking, and playing video games.
