Breathwork with Helen Buron in Amery WI
Breathwork is a type of active meditation, embodiment practice, and guided therapy that helps facilitate self-healing.

Why: To connect with nature, breath, and community
With the end of the year, the holiday season, and the darkness of winter approaching, let’s take a moment to pause and tend to our internal worlds by finding connection with the earth, ourselves, and a community of other heart-centered folks.
What to Expect: Come early to walk the land and connect with nature. We’ll meet up at the lake to do a grief and gratitude practice by camp fire where we offer our ache and abundance to the water. Then we’ll move indoors to get cozy in little breathing nests for a guided active breathwork practice.
What to Bring: outdoor gear for walking the trails if desired, a yoga mat if you have one plus blankets or pillows to create a breathwork nest, and yourself just as you are
Feel free to arrive early to this event!
2:00-2:30pm - Folks check in/drop off items at the Weesner Center and get their earth offering envelope to take with them as they walk the trails (Optional)
3pm - Meet at the lake for a campfire (weather permitting) and stone throwing activity (Optional)
4pm - Gather back at the Weesner Center for Breathwork (90 minutes)
Guided Breathwork Practice
Breathwork is a type of active meditation, embodiment practice, and guided therapy that helps facilitate self-healing. Through a three-part rhythmic breath pattern, the increase of oxygen helps bypass the thinking brain and invites in the space to connect more deeply to your own intuition and wisdom, unblock your creativity, and support you in releasing what’s no longer serving you. Through the breath, you can process emotions, past trauma, and current roadblocks to help you move through life’s transitions with more ease, alignment, clarity, and groundedness.
The breathwork practice is done lying down to a playlist and the facilitator guides you through the journey with prompts, hands-on body support, essential oils (if not sensitive to scents), and other healing tools. We’ll start with a little intro about what breathwork technique we’ll do together, why it’s beneficial, and what you might experience before lying down for a short grounding meditation and the breathing practice.
