Position Summary

The Testing Psychologist plays a key role in deepening understanding and fostering healing through comprehensive psychological assessment. We are specifically seeking a psychologist with experience in ADHD and Autism (neurodiversity) evaluations for children, adolescents, and/or adults.

This role focuses on providing high-quality, compassionate assessments that clarify diagnoses, guide treatment planning, and empower clients with insight. In addition to ADHD and Autism evaluations, the Testing Psychologist may also conduct other psychological, psychoeducational, or personality assessments as appropriate.

If desired, this role can also include providing psychotherapy in addition to testing services, depending on your training, interests, and licensure.

You will collaborate closely with our psychotherapists and psychiatric providers to ensure continuity of care and a holistic understanding of each client’s experience.

Assessment & Diagnosis

Conduct psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and/or adults, including clinical interviews, standardized testing, and behavioral observations.

Test Administration & Interpretation

Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments (e.g., WAIS-IV, WISC-V, MMPI-3, PAI, BASC-3, Conners 4, etc.) with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

Integrated Reports

Prepare clear, compassionate, and comprehensive written reports that synthesize findings and offer actionable recommendations for clients, families, and providers.

Feedback & Collaboration

Provide feedback sessions that empower clients with understanding and support; collaborate with CCA’s psychotherapy and psychiatry teams for integrated care.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain timely, thorough clinical documentation in our EHR (Charm); adhere to APA ethical standards and state licensure requirements.

Education & Consultation

Offer consultation to CCA team members regarding assessment results, diagnostic clarification, and treatment planning when relevant.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Licensed Psychologist (LP) or license-eligible in Minnesota.
  • Assessment Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in psychological and psychoeducational testing, scoring, interpretation, and report writing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and digital testing environments.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional empathy, cultural humility, clear written and verbal communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in LGBTQIA+-affirming and gender-affirming care.
  • Experience with trauma-informed or neurodiversity-affirming assessment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, ASL, or another language.
  • Familiarity with integrative or holistic approaches to mental health.
